Logement 't Oude Bierhuys<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t[vc_column_text]Since 2009 we, Sanne and Geoffrey, live and work on the beautiful Vismarkt. After a busy life in another segment of the catering industry, we took over Sint John day caf\u00e9 and the residential house above in 2009. After nearly ten years of enjoying the view of the Vismarkt, we decided in 2017 to convert the house into four stylish double hotel rooms. We have already welcomed many guests in our small-scale hotel more often.<\/p>\n

Behind the small door hides a wealth of authenticity, creaking planks, old beams and a real Mechelen stove. A nice contrast is the young & friendly service who welcomes you with the smell of freshly roasted coffee and a smile. For breakfast and lunch, you can enjoy a wide selection of teas, various coffee preparations, toasties and our frozen yogurt. This while enjoying the eighteenth century building itself or its beautiful view over the old fish market. All in the company of real middle-class citizens, regular guests, students and truants. An atmosphere and the offerings for which Sint John has been known for forty years.<\/a><\/p>\n

You can enjoy the peace and quiet in the sun or shade on the spacious terrace in the summer. Just away from the hustle and bustle in the center, under old linden trees and chestnuts, you are in the pure historic heart of Middelburg. With live music, art exhibitions and the famous antique markets from time to time, there is even more reason to visit the old fish market & St. John.<\/span><\/p>\n
